Job Description-

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines across on-premises SQL Server and cloud platforms such as Azure.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics.
Implement and manage ETL processes using tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory, ensuring clean, high-quality data for reporting.
Enable and support scheduled data refreshes, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure data availability.
Prepare structured, report-ready datasets for Power BI, supporting both real-time and scheduled analytics needs.
Create lightweight data workflows and automation using Power Automate, as needed.
Collaborate with business users and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate outputs, and continuously improve solutions.
Ensure data integrity, performance, and security across both local and cloud-hosted environments, in compliance with HIPAA and County IT policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of experience with SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL, performance tuning, and relational data modeling.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
Experience integrating data from on-premises systems and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake, Blob Storage).
Working knowledge of Power BI data modeling and Power Automate workflow integration.
Advanced expertise on PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Platform
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience supporting BI/reporting environments in public sector or healthcare settings is preferred.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) (optional)
