Job Details

Title: L3 Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Pittsburg, PA, US

Duration/Type of Job: 6+ months

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated L3 Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways (Job Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Perform infrastructure upgrade tasks for vSphere 8
  • Work with other infrastructure teams and application end-users to perform various infrastructure maintenance tasks
  • Assess situations and perform proactive analytics for change to minimize issues before they evolve
  • Perform various infrastructure expansion tasks as it relates to VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell
  • Conducting high-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell issues
  • Assist in process reviews and runbook updates along with internal Subject Matter Experts
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Hours - expectation - 40 hours a week, weekend work will be required, shifts may adjust per need

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following (Qualifications):

  • Strong background in virtualization and hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal clients to resolve issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network issues
  • High level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting VMware vSphere products
  • High level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco UCS
  • High level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Dell hardware
  • Strong programming and automation skills - PowerShell is preferred

VMware VCP-DCV certification is preferred
