Thank you for your interest in our open position. Our close partnership with the security industry's technology leaders places us in a unique position to execute for our clients. Our core competencies reside in our ability to design, deploy, maintain, and train users of enterprise security systems across small and large networks from single-site, single-device implementations to global deployments utilizing thousands of devices in myriad locations.
Currently we are looking to bring an additional low voltage technician to the team. This technicians primary responsibility will be to assist the lead technician onsite. This technician will be working with a team during their training period, but will be expected to work individually as they progress their skills.
The environments the technicians typically deal with are commercial locations, as well as some new construction. The duties consist of: running cables (CAT5/CAT6/Fiber Optic Cable/Copper), bending conduit, and terminating cables.
Previous experience is required for this role. At this time, we are not accepting entry level candidates.
There IS a drug test and BG check associated with this role.
Requirements:
1.) Must be able to work in teams as well as individually.
2.) Must be proficient with basic hand tools.
3.) Must have a clean driving record.
4.) Must be willing to work full time hours.
5.) Must have great communication skills.
Day to day duties (will be; but not limited to):
1. Mechanical, Data Center or Cabling experience ( coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.)
2. Work Ethic. This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, and cabling, etc.
3. Data Center/ Construction site experience.
4. Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.
5. Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing.
6. Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable.
7. Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
