Job Details

The client is looking for a Lead/Architect level person who can help with support and enhancements of their existing portfolio of apps. The person would also get support from 1-2 offshore resources. Certification is a key criteria, so the person should have PL-600 certification. Experience in Integration with SAP, or Snowflake is highly desirable.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Technical Lead to lead a strategic engagement focused on Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will be based in California and will manage a hybrid team comprising offshore development resources and a dedicated technical writer. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills to deliver solutions that meet the client's operational and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with the client, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) and SharePoint Online.
  • Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the creation and review of technical documentation with the technical writer.
  • Conduct solution reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and offshore teams.
  • Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, and progress reviews.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 8+ years in software development
    • 5+ years in Power Platform
    • 3+ years in SharePoint Online and integration with Power Platform
  • Certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (preferred)
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (a plus)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI
    • SharePoint Online site design, document management, workflows, integration, SAP and Snowflake integration experience
    • Dataverse, Azure Functions, custom connectors
    • ALM, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
    • Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
    • Strong leadership and team coordination
    • Ability to work effectively in distributed and cross-functional teams

Availability & Commitment:
  • Must be available to work in the client's time zone and attend regular sync-ups.
  • Willing to travel within California for key meetings or workshops if required.
