BI Analyst
Summary
We are seeking a BI Analyst to create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders that provide insights for decision-making. This BI Analyst will use advanced analytics tools to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data.
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance dashboards.
- Develop data models in Power BI.
- Create interactive visualizations and geospatial maps.
- Translate business needs into analytics solutions.
- Clean and transform data using Power Query.
- Collaborate with departments for data needs.
- Support and troubleshoot Power BI reports.
- Work with IT to fulfill reporting requests.
- Provide training on reporting and analytics.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of DAX formulas.
- Experience with Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, and data transformation.
- Experience creating Power BI visuals and map visualizations (ArcGIS).
- Solid understanding of database management and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of API integrations and data source management.
This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire remote opportunity for our Michigan-based client.
