Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Richmond, VA or Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract
Pay Range: $60 - $62 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join a fast-paced technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, combined with hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical teams to support data-driven decision-making through visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.


• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.


• Write and optimize PL/SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting purposes.


• Participate in report testing, validation, and performance tuning.


• Coordinate with production support teams to resolve issues and ensure report reliability.


• Manage timely delivery of assigned reporting tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.


• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI report and dashboard development.


• 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL including complex SQL scripting and performance tuning.


• 2+ years of experience working with Data Warehouses or Data Marts.


• Strong understanding of report design principles, data visualization best practices, and performance optimization.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• Familiarity with PowerBuilder is a plus.
