Network Engineers

Network Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Build and support solutions, and optimize, install, administer, monitor, and configure large-scale, high performance global network, cloud environments, interface points to core application systems, LAN and WAN network infrastructure. Analyze networking, switching, routing, firewalls, disaster recovery, capacity planning, enterprise wireless, cloud, logs, scheduled jobs, network servers, computing environments, security. Perform scripting, data configuration backups, and automation. Create and test network applications and services, troubleshoot production system. Review programming, automation tools, stability, recoverability. Audit IP address subnets, VLANs, DHCP. Update and upgrade software and hardware. Maintain network documentation and technical specifications, recommend systems modifications, and satisfy client/user needs. Use STP, OSPF, BGP, Python, CI/CD, Terraform, Git, Fortigate, Cisco Meraki Switches, Cisco Meraki Access Points, Cisco SD-WAN Routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, DHCP Server, TCP/IP, SolarWinds Monitoring, SharePoint, Fileserver, IDS/IPS, VPN. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience optimizing, installing infrastructure; administering and monitoring networks, LAN and WAN; analyzing and performing switching, routing, firewalls, disaster recovery, capacity planning, network servers, security, data backups, automation, troubleshooting; updating and upgrading software and hardware; using Fortigate, Cisco, TCP/IP, SharePoint, Fileserver, IDS/IPS, VPN. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $129,148 to $129,150 /yr.
