IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD)

Role Overview:

Highly skilled consultant with expertise in IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) to support a critical project. This role will primarily focus on the deployment, integration, and configuration of ISVD for authentication, authorization, and user synchronization across a large number of Active Directory domains.

Key Project Scope & Responsibilities (PCR 1):

This project involves deploying IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) and testing integrations and configurations for up to forty-eight (48) additional Active Directory (AD) domains.

Assumptions for PCR 1:

• Up to eight (8) instances of ISVD are in scope (up to 4 per data center, across 2 data centers).
• Up to eight (8) IBM Security Verify Bridges.
• Up to eight (8) IBM Security Verify Bridges for Directory Sync.
• Client SME availability is required for each domain/cluster per the project schedule.
• Client will provision and establish host systems for all on-premises IBM Security Verify components.

IBM Responsibilities:

• ISV Implementation and Configuration in Non-Production:
• Integrate client priority applications for authentication and authorization services (SSO, MFA & RBAC).
• Expand Active Directory on-premises integration to up to five (5) domains utilizing ISVD Server, IBM Security Verify Bridge, and Verify Bridge for Synchronization (up to two instances of each for availability).
• ISV Initial User Flow Configuration in Non-Production:
• Leverage ISV Flow Designer to create a user process flow for multiple AD domain users.
• Review and evaluate user attributes, develop and unit test flow scripts for initial AD domains (up to 5).
• Provide issue resolution support during client acceptance testing.
• Enhance and validate the process flow script to accommodate up to forty-five (45) additional domains.
• Document the user process flow in the Deployment Summary.
• Integration and Configuration of Additional Non-Production AD Domains:
• Deploy Verify Bridge and Verify Bridge for Synchronization for up to forty-five (45) additional AD domains.
• Includes validation of host systems, deployment of ISVD Servers (up to 4), Verify Bridges (up to 4), and Verify Bridges for Directory Sync (up to 4).
• Configure ISV for user authentication, just-in-time provisioning, and synchronization.
• Unit test and validate process flow for additional domains.
• Document configurations and user process flow in the Deployment Summary.
• Additional ISV Production Implementation Assistance:
• Assist client with validation of host systems, deployment of ISVD Servers and Verify Bridges for up to fifty (50) AD domains in Production. This will be phased: an initial set of 5 domains, followed by up to an additional 45 domains.

• Configure ISV for user authentication, just-in-time provisioning, and synchronization.

• Implement, unit test, and validate the process flow script for Production domains.

• Provide issue resolution support during client acceptance testing.

• Document Production Bridge configurations and user process flow in the Deployment Summary.

Client Other Responsibilities (for PCR 1):

• Provide Active Directory Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for each AD domain according to the Project Plan.

• Provision and establish host systems for the ISVD Servers and IBM Verify Bridges according to the Solution Design and Project Plan.

Deliverable Materials:

• Deployment Summary (updated throughout the project phases)
