Our client, the leader in the SaaS Identity space has an outstanding contract Workplace Coordinator - Operations opportunity to join their dynamic team. This is a fully onsite in San Francisco, CA.
We are looking for an organized, detailed, and dynamic individual to join our workplace operations team. The Workplace Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing events & projects, owning key vendor relationships, and executing day to day operations while maintaining an organized, best in class environment. What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities

The Workplace Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing events & projects, owning key vendor relationships, and executing day to day operations while maintaining an organized, best in class environment. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience supporting a workplace, facilities or office management team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to handle stress and customer support issues
- Works and collaborates well with others
- High attention to detail and organization
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Positive attitude & willingness to support team initiatives
- Must be able to work both with and without direct supervision
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and maneuver more
- Experience using MacBook, Google Suite & Slack
- Experience with heavy calendar management
- Flexibility with schedule - ability to occasionally stay later on some nights
- Required in office 5 days a week from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Early morning starts are required for catering/ event set-ups
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Support employees with all onsite event logistics from start to finish - create a memorable and seamless experience for all attendees, support everything from room bookings, event set-up/break down & clean up, furniture configurations, catering support to vendor management. Examples: Company & Team All Hands, Team Onsites, Board meetings, Executive meetings, Employee Resource Group events, etc.
- Be prepared to support all functions of the workplace operations team; support for one another over various programs, initiatives, projects, coverage, and day to day assistance
- Manage Service Now tickets within our Workplace SLA (service level agreement) with a focus on customer delivery
- Engage in operational protocols and processes to initiate continuous improvement and efficiencies in our operational pipeline
- Heavy calendar management
- Assist with managing the Workplace SF office event's budget
- Report maintenance issues to Building Management & Facilities Coordinator - conduct walk-throughs of conference rooms to ensure spaces are looking clean & organized
- Work closely with onsite Security team to ensure all events & vendors adhere to client security protocols
- Build strong internal relationships with our employees, partner teams, and key stakeholders
- Customer Service & Communication Ready - Provide timely communications & the best customer experience for employees, visitors, executives, and everyone in between
