Position Overview: As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating end-to-end infrastructure projects, from conception to implementation. Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
• End-to-End Project Management: Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Infrastructure Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust and scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to meet business objectives. Leverage your expertise in servers, VMware, cloud platforms, firewalls, and other technologies to architect cutting-edge solutions.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools, skills, and support to deliver on project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Maintain a keen focus on quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential roadblocks.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal value and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices within the project management function. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, striving for continuous enhancement of infrastructure capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on servers, VMware, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), firewalls, and related technologies.
• Strong technical acumen and familiarity with industry-standard tools and methodologies for infrastructure management and virtualization.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
