Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $141,400 and $228,800. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Develop Scalable Solutions - Write secure, stable, and high-quality code that powers Autodesk's next-generation data platform
- Architect for Impact - Design and build highly available, efficient, and scalable data processing solutions used across multiple teams
- Foster Collaboration - Work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to translate ideas into practical, well-designed software components
- Champion Technical Excellence - Apply best practices in software design, test-driven development, and continuous integration
- Mentor and Empower - Share your expertise by guiding and supporting engineers at all experience levels
- Solve Complex Challenges - Build and optimize data pipelines, self-healing systems, and real-time processing architectures
- Ensure Performance & Reliability - Define performance benchmarks, conduct rigorous testing, and continuously improve efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in Data Engineering
- Deep expertise in streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, AWS Kinesis Firehose)
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python, with a focus on performance and scalability
- Proven experience with cloud architectures (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience building highly available, distributed systems & microservices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory) and container frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a growth mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and microservices
- Knowledge of Data Lakes, Warehouses, and ETL pipelines
- Experience implementing QA frameworks and system monitoring
