Windows/VMWare Systems Administrator

Contract:

6-month contract to hire

Shift/Hours:

Monday - Friday EST hours

They work standard working hours. They rotate on call.

Location:

They want this person on - site 5 days a week to start. After some time, they can offer some flex but ideally want someone who can be in the office. They are located about 30 minutes from Penn State University s main campus and it s a very populated area.

Experience:

4+ years

Top Must Have s:
  1. 4+ Years of experience as a System Administrator
  2. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and administer:
    1. VMWare ESXi
    2. Windows Server (2016-2022)
    3. Microsoft Active Directory and all its components/capabilities
    4. Microsoft TCP/IP Networking (DHCP, DNS, etc.)
    5. User accounts and security
    6. MS365 suite of applications
  3. Proficient in PowerShell
  4. IT security best practices
  5. Critical thinking, decisiveness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
