Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - IT Budgeting

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the financials for a large IT organization. This position involves overseeing the budget and forecast for a diverse team with multiple sub-teams and budgets. The analyst will work under the supervision of the hiring manager to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Coordination:

• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to missing, duplicate, or incorrect invoices.

Financial Reporting:

• Utilize SAP to generate various reports that reflect project financial actuals.
• Reconcile project actuals against forecasts and address any discrepancies.

Issue Resolution:

• Identify, research, and resolve unexpected project charges or charges allocated to incorrect bill codes.
• Coordinate purchase order requirements between Product Owners and Vendor Management.

Transaction Management:

• Create and submit transactions to correct financial discrepancies.
• Maintain clear communication with Product Owners and vendors to resolve financial matters.

Communication:

• Regularly update the hiring manager and team leads on the financial status, highlighting any gaps or concerns.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within an IT organization.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and other financial reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
