Join the Insight & Design group within Microsoft Azure-a team dedicated to capturing, sharing, and reusing product knowledge across the company. This role supports a companywide knowledge library that empowers teams across Microsoft to build smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.
?? Role Overview

As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll spend the majority of your time building and refining cloud-based solutions that support internal knowledge sharing. You'll collaborate with a friendly and forward-thinking team, and gain exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies adjacent to your core responsibilities.

? Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience building cloud services

Preferred Skills (Major Plus)

Frontend Development

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• React or similar modern frontend frameworks

Backend Development

• ASP.NET MVC or equivalent server-side frameworks
• RESTful API design, GraphQL
• Authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)

Database Management

• SQL Server, Cosmos DB
• Database optimization and indexing

Cloud Services & DevOps

• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Containerization and orchestration tools
• Azure services: Application Gateway, API Management, WebApps, FunctionApps, LogicApps, App Insights, Cognitive Search
