Full Time, Permanent Opportunity for Sr. M365 Engineer (Hybrid in Plano, TX)

The Work Itself

The Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for administering and providing end-user support for the organization's Microsoft 365 platform. This includes managing various Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Teams, Copilot, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and the Microsoft productivity suite. The role involves frequent interaction with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access, connectivity, and performance.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation and training materials for both end-users and IT staff. The engineer will also collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure that Microsoft 365 solutions align with the organization's goals and objectives. Additionally, the position requires working closely with customers to provide guidance on new features and functions that may enhance productivity, as well as offering support and guidance related to Microsoft Copilot within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret information objectively, identify appropriate solutions, write clearly, and present complex information concisely and effectively. They should communicate with clarity and precision, adapt positively to change, seek feedback constructively, and drive necessary changes to achieve organizational objectives. Furthermore, the candidate must understand and anticipate customer needs, taking action to deliver high-quality products and services that exceed expectations. The person in this role will be responsible for monitoring new feature releases for Microsoft products and making suggestions for usage within the organization.

The Talent You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of work experience
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies
  • Must be able to follow oral and written directions
  • Must be self-motivating and able to work with minimum direction
  • Must be able to prioritize assigned workloads and effectively complete projects and priorities
  • Attention to detail, administration, and demonstrated organizational skills are required
  • Strong verbal, written, listening, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with all levels of employees
  • Must be flexible and highly receptive to change

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for reporting and administration
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power platform
