A mainframe assembler job involves designing, developing, testing, and configuring mainframe systems using Assembler language.

This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing critical enterprise applications.

They work with mainframe technologies like COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of these systems.

Application Development: Writing, maintaining, and debugging Assembler language programs on mainframe systems.

Testing and Debugging: Performing unit, system, and QA testing, and debugging complex routines.

Performance Optimization: Optimizing application performance for high-volume processing.
