Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for network incidents, connectivity issues, and hardware failures.
Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and access points).
Support end-users with basic network-related issues and escalate complex problems to higher-level engineers.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, backups, and updates on network hardware and software.
Assist with documenting network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Help with new network installations and upgrades under supervision.
Maintain proper security protocols and adhere to IT policies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, networking, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
Familiarity with network devices (Cisco/Juniper switches, routers, and firewalls).
Understanding of the OSI model and common troubleshooting techniques (ping, traceroute, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions from senior engineers.
