Job Details
The Data and Power BI Architect with SSRS expertise plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's business intelligence landscape. This hybrid role combines modern analytics capabilities with legacy reporting proficiency to deliver robust, scalable, and insightful data solutions. The architect is responsible for designing end-to-end BI architectures, integrating Power BI with existing SSRS infrastructure, and ensuring seamless data flow across platforms. By aligning technical execution with business strategy, this role empowers stakeholders with actionable insights while modernizing the enterprise s reporting ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect BI Solutions: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance BI solutions using Power BI and SSRS.
- Report Migration & Integration: Lead efforts to migrate legacy SSRS reports into Power BI while ensuring continuity and performance.
- Data Modeling: Build semantic models using DAX and Power Query (M); optimize data structures for performance and usability.
- ETL & Data Warehousing: Design and manage data pipelines and warehouses using SQL Server and cloud platforms.
- Governance & Standards: Define and enforce data governance, security, and development standards across BI platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable dashboards.
- Performance Optimization: Tune SSRS and Power BI reports for speed, accuracy, and user experience.
- Mentorship: Guide BI developers and analysts on best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in BI development, with a strong focus on Power BI.
- Proven track record of leading complex BI projects and teams.
- Proven expertise in Power BI and SSRS report development and optimization.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics.
