Role: Senior Java Backend Developer
Location: Redmond, WA -Onsite

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Build high-performance APIs and distributed systems for large-scale applications.
- Develop RESTful services with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Work with cloud-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot complex backend issues and tune services for optimal performance.
- Follow and enforce best coding practices; participate in code and design reviews.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, system improvements, and technical strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Java 8+
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud
- Microservices Architecture
- Experience building scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems.
- Strong database experience (both relational and NoSQL):
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Experience with API Gateway, service registry, circuit breakers, and service mesh frameworks.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
