Data Analysis & Visualization
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex cloud usage and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI, QuickSight, and other BI tools to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from cloud billing systems, data warehouses, and operational databases.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and systems to support FinOps analytics and reporting.
Engineering & Automation
Automate monitoring, alerting, and remediation of cloud cost inefficiencies using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to support FinOps tooling and governance.
Build integrations between FinOps platforms and internal systems to streamline cost allocation, chargebacks, and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with engineering, finance, and operations teams to embed cost-awareness into design and deployment workflows.
Contribute to the development of a cost-conscious culture through documentation, training, and process standardization.
Basic Qualifications
Strong proficiency in PowerBI, QuickSight, or similar BI tools.
Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and geographies.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
