Job Details

Job Summary
This position is responsible to collaborate with internal and business contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals, meet the customer needs, help troubleshoot the issues in applications and serve as product ambassador.
Essential Functions

  • Assist the Business Partners with the resolution
  • Assist with requirements definition and design activities resulting from the Business Partners request or defect resolution.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.
  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog.
  • Assist the Project managers, application developers, Production Support Manager with other projects that are going on and will be responsible for research, analysis, documentation of production support and defect resolution.
  • Participate in analysis, support, implementation, testing and validation of Policy Administration, products and plan requirements.
  • Provide support and training to customers using the policy administration application regarding the use, functionality, and navigation of the application.
  • Work closely with business subject matter experts in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of product development activities and developed business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Prepare documentation for products and plans being implemented
  • Provide end-to-end insurance product configuration and project management support for clients.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of life and annuities in insurance industry
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business relevant conclusions.
  • Strong knowledge of breaking down process flows
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Knowledge of various development methodology (Agile, Etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated when it comes to tasking and planning.
  • Must be able to pay attention to details.
  • Must be able to articulate resolutions clearly and concisely and in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to multi-task

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field of study
  • Life Insurance experience- 5 years minimum, 10 years preferred
