Job Description:

Scope of the Project:

This is a position that will work with all aspects of the Systems and Network area, but with a focus on linux server administration and cloud server Administration.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION, AND MANAGEMENT OF ALL LINUX SERVER INSTANCES IN OUR ENVIRONMENT. CURRENTLY, THIS INCLUDES RHEL AND ORACLE UNBREAKABLE LINUX. THE CANDIDATE WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE STAFF MEMBERS AND ALSO ACT AS A BACKUP RESOURCE ON INFRASTRUCTURE AREAS SUCH AS STORAGE AND NETWORK.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server

Linux Operating System

ORACLE UNBREAKABLE LINUX SERVER

Linux Scripting (Bash or Python)

Oracle Linux Automation Manager

Required Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Equivalent years of experience can be substituted for formal education (At least three years)
