Requirements:
13+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Data Analyst in the IT industry.
Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to solve complex, data-driven business problems.
10+ years of experience designing and optimizing data workflows using modeling or mapping tools.
Strong expertise in writing Epics and User Stories, including acceptance criteria.
8+ years of experience creating and maintaining data-related documentation.
Experience designing and presenting visual data models and dashboards.
Demonstrated ability to lead data-focused meetings and drive resolution of issues.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:
Analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and user requirements to identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses of proposed solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for new systems or enhancements.
Write Epics and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development and QA teams.
Review system capabilities and limitations to assess the viability of requested changes.
Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, business requirement documents, and data mapping specifications.
Design and present visual data models and dashboards to communicate trends, performance metrics, and timelines.
Lead workshops and interviews to gather insights, resolve data-related issues, and align technical solutions with business goals.
