Our work depends on this role to serve as the primary point-of-contact to the Program Manager (and at times the Government) for all infrastructure engineering support-related needs. This role will manage a team that supports the infrastructure operations tasks of a complete spectrum of IT engineering projects, platforms, and services, including infrastructure, endpoint, security, and network services.

The likely salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

This role will manage a team that supports the infrastructure operations tasks of a complete spectrum of IT engineering projects, platforms, and services, including infrastructure, endpoint, security, and network services.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Serving as the primary interface to the Government for all infrastructure engineering support
- Supporting the full range of infrastructure engineering services to include:
- Network engineering
- Security engineering
- New / upgraded site installation engineering
- Data center design and enhancement engineering
- Third party network access engineering
- Backup and storage engineering
- Infrastructure patch management
- Infrastructure integration and testing
- Infrastructure research and technology innovation
- Overseeing and managing the delivery of design and development for all infrastructure engineering tasks including
- Integration and testing
- Migration / deployment support functions for new and existing infrastructure solutions.
- Ensuring quality delivery of Engineering Tier 3 support in coordination with the Service Desk to resolve network outages
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Required Experience: 10+ total years of related experience
- 3+ years in a lead infrastructure engineering role
- 3+ years in a lead role supporting an enterprise ecosystem
- 3+ years managing technical staff as a manager/team lead
- Expertise in (or equivalent experience):
- Vulnerability management
- Patch management
- Zero Trust principles and implementation
- Cloud (Azure and AWS)
- Security Logging
- Threat hunting
- CDM
- Ability to report onsite in Rockville, MD and Washington, DC to client locations
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
- ship or US Persons required
- Must have been in the US for at least 3 out of the last 5 years
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience with federal customers
- Familiarity with Federal Security mandates (e.g., FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP)
