Role Overview

iSphere is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer for a 3+ month contract in Austin, TX to support web application modernization and development efforts for a mission-critical public sector system. This role requires deep experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, including Angular (v14+), .NET Core, SQL Server, and legacy ASP.NET systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using ASP.NET Core and C#

  • Build responsive UI components in Angular 14+; exposure to Angular 18 is highly preferred

  • Design and manage SQL databases, including schemas, stored procedures, Entity Framework, and SSRS reports

  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs with .NET Core

  • Optimize performance and scalability across services

  • Ensure ADA Section 504 compliance for legacy applications

  • Implement ORM-based database operations and perform advanced troubleshooting

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests for APIs and UI components

  • Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Troubleshoot application issues across environments (Dev, Test, Prod)

  • Support transition of cloud-hosted applications to on-prem environments

  • Leverage DevOps tools for build, test, and deployment automation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, and modern web application architecture

  • 10+ years working with SQL Server, stored procedures, schema design, Entity Framework, and SSRS

  • 6+ years building UI components with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript

  • 5+ years of experience writing and managing unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Selenium)

  • 4+ years with RESTful API development and web services integration

  • 3+ years using Angular 14+ (within the last 5 years)

  • 3+ years ensuring ADA 504 compliance on legacy web applications

  • 3+ years working with Bootstrap, Blazor, and jQuery

  • 3+ years handling ETL/data integration processes

  • 2+ years of Angular 18 exposure in real-world projects

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Angular CLI, Angular Material, RxJS

  • Experience deploying applications to Microsoft Azure

  • Understanding of Azure SQL Database features

  • Experience working with ArcGIS and geospatial tools

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
