Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Architect to join a leading Insurance client remotely. This role demands deep technical expertise in test automation frameworks, a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, and a proactive mindset to enhance and extend enterprise testing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect and enhance enterprise-level test automation frameworks using:
Playwright (TypeScript)
Selenium (Java with Spring)
Karate DSL
Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and configurable automation frameworks.
Implement new features and extend capabilities in test automation solutions to be used across the enterprise.
Leverage AWS services (ECS, Lambda, ECR, Secrets Manager) for hosting, scaling, and securing automation assets.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.
Explore and apply Generative AI (AWS Bedrock) solutions to optimize test automation strategies.
Ensure best practices in test design, code quality, and reporting across automation initiatives.
Act as a technical SME in automation, providing guidance and mentorship to other QA engineers.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, practices, and strategies across teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven hands-on experience architecting and implementing test automation using:
Playwright with TypeScript
Selenium with Java (Spring Framework)
Karate Framework
Strong understanding of framework internals and configuration not just end-user experience.
Proficient in AWS cloud services, particularly ECS, Lambda, ECR, and Secrets Manager.
Familiar with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation using Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins.
Exposure to AWS Bedrock and its application in Generative AI within the testing ecosystem is a plus.
Strong coding skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable automation scripts.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal guidance.
Passion for innovation, automation excellence, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the Insurance domain is a plus.
Experience in building test strategies for microservices or distributed systems.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS) and cloud-native testing tools.
