Job Description

We are seeking a Business Data Scientist I to support advanced analytics, modeling, and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves developing scalable models, enhancing reporting capabilities, and collaborating with market intelligence and business teams to identify data-driven opportunities. A strong programming foundation, analytical mindset, and process improvement approach are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain BI reports and analytical models.

  • Develop automated, scalable processes for data analysis and model validation.

  • Enhance visualization tools and streamline data access for business users.

  • Build descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive statistical models to solve business challenges.

  • Work with large datasets in hybrid cloud environments using AI and ML techniques.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, database development, or the natural gas industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate).
