Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee the technical aspects of event builds for a multi-day event cycle, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic hybrid environment with three days in the office.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical build and execution of events using the Cvent Flex platform, ensuring all components meet project specifications.
Develop attendee-focused mobile apps and hubs tailored for multi-day events, including agenda management and interactive features.
Manage complex agenda imports from Excel, ensuring accuracy and alignment with event requirements.
Coordinate push notifications and inbox communications to enhance attendee engagement and experience.
Oversee multi-hotel room block arrangements through the Cvent platform, ensuring smooth operations and logistics.
Build and test registration websites and mobile applications, ensuring functionality and user-friendly design.
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to align technical deliverables with broader event goals.
Conduct quality assurance checks on all technical elements to ensure reliability and performance.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for event-related systems and applications.
Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
Proven expertise in using the Cvent Flex platform for event builds, including attendee hubs and mobile apps.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing complex agenda imports and data organization.
Experience in mobile app development, including push notifications and user engagement features.
Knowledge of multi-hotel room block management within event platforms.
Familiarity with building registration websites and navigating technical challenges.
Excellent organizational and scheduling skills to manage multiple event components simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices to ensure flawless execution.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
