Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager with proven leadership in Power BI, Data Lake, and Agile/Scrum project delivery, especially in education or public sector environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive PMP-certified project management experience and have recently managed data-driven initiatives for state departments of education, school districts, or tax agencies.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 16 years of overall Project Management experience.

  • PMI Certification (PMP) Mandatory.

  • 3+ years of RECENT experience with:

    • Power BI (reporting, dashboard delivery, stakeholder alignment)

    • Data Lake (governance, integration, reporting)

  • Hands-on Scrum Master experience and strong command of Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC/PMLC frameworks.

  • Proven experience in public sector education or tax systems: school finance, property tax, homestead exemptions, school bonds, etc.

  • Preferred backgrounds: State Department of Education, school districts, appraisal/tax assessment agencies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile project teams delivering data dashboards, analytics platforms, and reporting tools using Power BI and Data Lake.

  • Manage end-to-end project scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and business users to define clear deliverables.

  • Ensure consistent adherence to project processes, develop project budgets, and manage ongoing documentation.

  • Communicate progress through status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings.

  • Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, retrospectives, and lessons learned.
