We are seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering exceptional services that make a difference in our communities.

Job Summary

As a Municipal Civil Engineer, you'll provide civil, municipal, land development, or environmental engineering services while working collaboratively with experienced professionals. You'll assist in designing and developing solutions for a wide range of projects, from roadway design to stormwater management, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

You'll report to a Branch Manager or Principal and collaborate with staff engineers, project engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers on assignments tailored to your development.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with detailed design tasks for engineering staff.
  • Prepare reports, complex calculations, and engineering specifications.
  • Conduct planning, investigations, and surveys while applying innovative engineering principles.
  • Contribute to project designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Engage in roadway design, stormwater analysis, water distribution, wastewater engineering, and construction engineering.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analyses to support project planning.
  • Assist in project documentation, reporting, and coordination with project managers.

What It Takes
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • EIT/FE certification preferred, PE certification a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capacity to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
