Job Title: Appian Business Platform Specialist
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite M-F)
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Appian Business Platform Specialist to join our Professional Services team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing workflow solutions using Appian, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, the ability to understand legacy systems quickly, and drive automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement workflow solutions using Appian and related technologies.
- Collaborate with business units and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Analyze legacy systems and propose modernization strategies and automation opportunities.
- Document business processes and create detailed technical specifications.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Provide technical consultation and support during solution deployment.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all implementations.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Appian BPM platform and workflow automation.
- Experience with APIs/Microservices (REST, SOAP) and integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of mainframe systems and legacy modernization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in financial services and digital payment workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of packaged services and SaaS delivery models.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Appian development and workflow automation.
- Experience in financial services or fintech domain preferred.
- Proven track record in business analysis and technical solution delivery.
