Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) to join a growing engineering team in Arizona. This role is ideal for a licensed Arizona Professional Engineer with strong land development design experience who enjoys technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and working directly with clients.

You will lead the technical execution of civil engineering projects while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects focused on land development, transportation, and drainage

  • Serve as technical lead on design efforts and project execution

  • Supervise and mentor engineers-in-training and technical staff

  • Assist with project scoping, scheduling, and complexity assessment

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations

  • Maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables

  • Support employee development and contribute to team-building initiatives

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships


Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required)

  • Minimum 6 years of civil design experience in land development or related infrastructure projects

  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
