Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Data Engineer for a long-term opportunity with the Texas Workforce Commission. This position is remote but candidates must reside in Texas. The ideal consultant will have strong ETL development experience using Informatica and expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Science techniques.

Required Skills:

  • 15-18+ years of total IT experience (Mandatory)

  • Deep hands-on experience in ETL design and development using Informatica

  • Strong experience in data profiling, data quality, and data management

  • Proven expertise in data warehouse development and testing (relational & dimensional)

  • Strong RDBMS skills with Oracle (preferred), SQL Server, etc.

  • Hands-on Data Science experience algorithms, data mining, and model building

  • Skilled in data modeling in a data warehouse environment

  • Experience with Informatica Cloud product suite

  • Proven experience in data cleaning, validation, and error analysis

  • Ability to detect and resolve mismatched data in case management systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with multiple RDBMS: DB2, SQL Server, Oracle

  • Proficiency with data modeling tools like Erwin

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
