Position: Senior SCCM Consultant
Location: Tampa, FL 33621
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Right-to-Hire possible based on performance)
Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret Clearance
Position Summary:
The Senior SCCM Consultant will serve as a Windows 10 / SCCM Client Resident responsible for managing and optimizing system deployment and imaging processes. This role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, and hardware vendors to ensure seamless configuration management and deployment execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and validate Boot-in-Factory hooks for each task sequence release.
Export approved task sequences and upload them to the factory environment.
Coordinate and oversee First Article testing for new Boot-in-Factory projects, gathering feedback and securing approval from the Customer Acceptability Testing Engineer.
Provide expert guidance on hardware driver configurations during hardware transitions.
Support and resolve driver-related conflicts/issues for Dell-branded equipment (engineering-level support).
Advise technical leadership on optimal deployment configurations for factory-based services.
Assist in configuring SCCM OSD Task Sequences and provide best practice recommendations.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of operational documentation, including architecture, maintenance, and upgrade procedures.
Support updates to SCCM OSD to accommodate Windows 10 feature upgrades as part of the Windows-as-a-Service lifecycle.
Participate in and provide guidance for image release planning and rollout schedules.
Serve as a liaison between onsite SCCM administrators, the image development team, and factory engineers.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance (mandatory).
CompTIA Security+ certification required.
Strong expertise in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Windows 10 deployment.
Proven experience with OSD (Operating System Deployment) and task sequence customization.
Advanced understanding of hardware driver management and conflict resolution.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
Experience working with or supporting factory imaging processes is preferred.
