Software Engineer - TS/SCI with CI Poly (Active) - San Diego, CA || Aurora, CO || Annapolis Junction, MD || Alexandria, VA (Onsite - Relocation Assistance Available).

 

Job Description:
Our client is a leader in secure enterprise solutions and cloud computing since 1996, and is seeking a Software Engineer to support a high-impact, agile government program. This role involves working on mission-critical software in a SAFe Agile environment using DevOps best practices, BDD/TDD, and advanced automation tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain software in Java and/or related languages.
  • Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and agile ceremonies.
  • Analyze system requirements and implement sound engineering solutions.
  • Author, tune, and document automation scripts; deploy across test/production.
  • Drive reuse, modularity, and high performance in coding practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI w CI Poly (Active)
  • Bachelor s in CS or related (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in Java
  • Experience with:
    Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins
  • Experience with UI development, XML/XSLT, and Windows/Linux environments
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and independent problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with:
    Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, scripting, secure software development
  • Agile development (Pair Programming, Refactoring, BDD/TDD, ATDD)
  • Tools: FITNesse, Mockito, Cucumber, Selenium, UFT
  • Experience with SAFe methodology or SAFe Agilist Certification
