You will collaborate directly and continuously with Product Managers, Designers, and Product Owners to build, validate, and release software products early and often. By taking a lead software engineering role on the team you will be leading the team through technical practices and business domains to transform our customer experiences through thoughtful technology.

What you'll do...
  • Serve as a core member of platform modernization engineering team.
  • Understand Web Services, APIs, and backend technology to support the implementation of the features.
  • Publishing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting code through a CI/CD microservices-based distributed application deployment pipeline.
  • Contribute to an engineering culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide application design and architecture leadership.
  • Provide frontend and backend expertise and mentorship to other software engineers through design and code reviews, documentation, best agile practices, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Interact and work closely with product manager and TPM to devise solutions and break them down into incremental production-ready user stories.
  • Contribute to Service Level Objectives Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
  • Grow technical capabilities / expertise and provide guidance to other members on the team.


You'll have...
  • 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience (web applications, microservices architecture,
    SOAP/REST etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent
    experience
  • 2+ Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, PCF, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  • 2+ years of experience with Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
  • 2 years of experience in Agile practices (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform
  • Paired programming
  • Outstanding software engineering and design knowledge; Practiced in Extreme Programming (XP) disciplines including best-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and become productive in new technologies quickly
  • Experience helping troubleshoot application and performance issues
  • Agile mindset
