Job Title: Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud Functional Consultant
Location: 100% Remote
Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Purchasing (PO). This role will focus on a complex implementation project involving data conversion from legacy systems, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience with divestitures. The consultant will also be responsible for integrating third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Key Responsibilities
* Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, and PO). This includes gathering requirements, conducting a gap analysis, designing solutions, and configuring the system to meet business needs.
* Data Conversion: Manage and execute data conversion activities from various legacy systems to Oracle Fusion, including data mapping, migration, and validation. Experience with data conversion specific to divestitures is highly preferred.
* Integration: Design, develop, and test integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and third-party peripheral systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This includes creating integrations for data exchange and process automation.
* Support & Training: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
* Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional design documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
* Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
* Experience:
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud.
* Proven expertise in configuring and implementing the following modules: AP, AR, GL, FA, and PO.
* Demonstrated experience with data conversion and migration from legacy systems.
* Specific experience with divestitures or complex organizational restructuring projects is a significant advantage.
* Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud's architecture and security model.
* Proficiency in financial business processes and best practices.
* Familiarity with reporting tools such as OTBI and Financial Reporting Studio.
* Soft Skills:
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Certified in Oracle Fusion Financials is a plus.
