About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager (UX) II to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a collaborative and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, and aligning outcomes with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage project-oriented work efforts, ensuring stability, transparency, and timely delivery.
  • Implement and maintain project management methodologies and best practices across IT teams.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress daily.
  • Identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and escalate issues related to scope, quality, or timelines.
  • Track key milestones and adjust plans or resources as needed to meet evolving project requirements.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to manage scope, budget, risk, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Lead complex projects through the full lifecycle: inception, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and team leads to maintain end-to-end project plans.
  • Manage change requests, risk mitigation strategies, and project-specific budgets.
  • Provide clear and consistent updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Foster continuous improvement by gathering feedback and enhancing communication processes.


Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in project management roles.
  • Proven experience managing medium to high-complexity projects across multiple technologies and functions.
  • Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools, resource planning, and change management techniques.
  • Agile Scrum certification and experience with tools such as Rally (or similar).
  • Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
  • Preferred background in enterprise systems or database administration.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts and their application in project delivery.
