Job Details
Requirements (Experience & Background)
- 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect/Engineer, Engineering Consultant, or Data Engineer within the data infrastructure ecosystem.
- Strong hands-on data engineering experience, with emphasis on Snowflake enterprise implementations.
- Proven track record supporting pre-sales and post-sales cycles in technical engagements.
- Experience working in a start-up environment (Series A or Series B preferred).
- Background as a Database Administrator or Data Warehouse Engineer is a strong plus.
Location
- Remote (U.S.), with a preference for candidates based in the Bay Area, CA.
Hard Skills
- Deep expertise in Snowflake (minimum 2 years), including SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with familiarity across the modern data stack including dbt and related tools.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, make-it-happen mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
