Job Description:
- The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading internal computer software systems used for designing and developing company products.
 - This role involves managing VMware environments, supporting both UNIX and Windows systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring high system reliability and performance in a 24/7 environment.
 
- Install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer software systems used for designing and developing company products.
 - Control user access and passwords.
 - Propose and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
 - Monitor system usage and performance.
 - Train personnel on system usage.
 - Maintain VMware-based environments and monitor virtual server infrastructure health.
 - Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products.
 - Provide hardware specifications based on application needs and growth projections.
 - Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
 - Provide on-call support every other week and occasional weekend/holiday coverage.
 - Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
 
- 8 years of experience as a System Administrator.
 - Experience managing VMware vCenter 8.0 or newer.
 - Experience managing Nagios.
 - Hands-on experience supporting UNIX and Windows environments, including OS administration and systems support.
 - Experience collaborating with Security, Audit, DBA, Networking, Microsoft, and Development teams.
 - Strong customer support experience in time-critical environments.
 - Analytical and methodical problem-solving approach.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - Experience managing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux on x86.
 - Experience managing and maintaining Windows and SQL servers.
 - Experience managing and maintaining storage such as Pure Storage and VSAN.
 - Strong shell scripting skills.
 - Ability to create and implement processes and procedures for standardization across regions.
 - Business-aware and focused on service delivery.
 - Proficiency with standard office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
 
- Linux/Windows Server certifications a plus.
 - Experience managing UCS blade servers.
