Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Onsite in Albuquerque, NM

What You ll Do:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you ll provide IT support both remotely and on-site. Your role will involve troubleshooting, finding workarounds, and resolving technical issues, all while maintaining high standards of customer service. You ll need to be technically skilled, self-driven, and highly organized, with a strong focus on customer care. As a key player on the IT Infrastructure team, you will be the first point of contact for end users technical needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing and configuring systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain, configure, and operate computer systems
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and softacware problems
  • Document and provide specifications for planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades
  • Ensure timely resolution of desktop, application, and workstation issues
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:


  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of IT support experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with IT ticketing systems
  • 2+ years of experience supporting MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 2+ years of network/system administration experience, including:

    • Networking software, hardware, and protocols
    • Helpdesk and IT operations best practices
    • Developing and implementing IT strategies

  • Strong knowledge of computers, networks, and software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Collaborative team player
  • Eagerness to learn new technology and software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or System Administration
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and across multiple teams
