Job Details

A highly reputed financial services technology team is seeking a Python Developer with a strong backend development background. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building complex, high-performance applications involving large-scale data processing and computation using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop complex backend applications using Python.

Implement data computation and transformation logic with mathematical and statistical formulas.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Write clean, efficient, and testable code with proper documentation.

Lead and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.

Participate in debugging, performance tuning, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in Python backend development.

Strong understanding of data processing using Pandas, NumPy, and related libraries.

Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.

Ability to write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with Docker or containerization tools.

Experience with Snowflake or similar analytical platforms.
