Job Description
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving new business and revenue growth for a cloud-based construction planning and analytics software platform. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close—while partnering cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure long-term customer success. This is a high-impact role ideal for a consultative SaaS sales professional with experience selling into complex, enterprise-level construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, negotiation, and deal closure
- Drive new business and expansion revenue while consistently meeting or exceeding assigned ARR and quota targets
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with executives, project teams, and decision-makers within the construction and AEC industry
- Apply consultative selling techniques to identify customer challenges and clearly articulate business value and ROI
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Product teams to support onboarding, adoption, and long-term customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM data using Salesforce or similar platforms
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and product developments
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, including B2B and B2C environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
- Experience managing complex, enterprise-level sales cycles
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, Excel, SharePoint, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or similar)
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of supported clients and projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling construction technology, AEC software, or related solutions
- Familiarity with project and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
- Experience selling cloud-based, analytics-driven software solutions to owners, contractors, or engineering teams
