We are urgently seeking Senior Mainframe Developers with 12+ years of advanced-to-expert level experience in enterprise mainframe environments. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, Natural/ADABAS, CA-7, and JCL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex mainframe solutions, with experience in modernization and batch automation initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and Natural/ADABAS.
  • Create and optimize JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling with CA-7.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, perform impact analysis, and deliver high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system-level issues.
  • Participate in mainframe modernization projects, including migration strategies and integration with distributed systems.
  • Drive automation of batch jobs to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance tuning best practices, and security protocols
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 12+ years of professional experience in mainframe application development.
  • Advanced proficiency in COBOL and CICS programming.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DB2 and Natural/ADABAS.
  • Proficient in JCL and CA-7 job scheduling.
  • Solid understanding of batch and online transaction processing.
  • Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with mainframe modernization (cloud integration, API enablement, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in batch automation projects.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD in mainframe environments.
