Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AWS), Enterprise Supervision

The Enterprise Supervision team is seeking experienced Software Engineers to enhance Tyler Supervision's Case Management product. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and documenting SaaS features and products, adhering to established development standards and procedures. You will also lead our engineering efforts to integrate an AI framework into our product and develop APIs between the AI framework and our product suite.

Note: This is a hybrid position which requires the candidate to be in the Plano, TX office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, write, and test code to create functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated application systems.
• Maintain existing applications by fixing bugs and addressing operational deficiencies in both released and upcoming software.
• Ensure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance.
• Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and integrate applications developed internally and externally.
• Lead the integration of generative AI frameworks into our product suite.
• Develop and maintain APIs between the AI framework and our product suite.
• Prepare and update program and system documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in SaaS or web-based development.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, unit testing, design patterns, and relevant technologies.
• Proven experience in writing and testing code to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in scaling web-based applications running in the cloud.
• Understanding of product architecture and underlying technologies.
• Familiarity with the development process.
• Experience with data modeling tools, web services, and/or service-oriented architecture.
• Proven experience with generative AI frameworks and API development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment.
