Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Rolling Department in Davenport, IA. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple capital projects, optimizing industrial electrical systems, and leading efforts to improve equipment performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning.

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement process improvement solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and upgrade PLC/HMI systems and install industrial camera systems.

  • Apply SMART manufacturing principles for data-driven performance enhancement.

  • Support maintenance and production teams with hands-on technical expertise.

  • Mentor team members and promote safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

  • 3 6 years of experience in electrical design, installation, or systems maintenance.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills across all levels of an organization

  • Familiarity with Export Control Law compliance.


Preferred Experience

  • Industrial manufacturing environment.

  • PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred).

  • RS Logix, FactoryTalk, or other Rockwell programming tools.

  • AC/DC drives, motors, measuring devices, Ethernet cameras.

  • Budget and schedule management on capital projects.
