Title: Security Engineer CPQ / Cryptographic Experience
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite/Week)
Client: Verizon
Rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Security Engineer with expertise in CPQ systems and cryptographic technologies to support a long-term engagement with Verizon in Irving, TX. This role requires 2 days/week onsite and is ideal for candidates with strong security design and implementation experience in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on security engineering tasks related to CPQ platforms
Implement and manage cryptographic protocols, encryption standards, and data protection strategies
Collaborate with architecture and compliance teams to enforce security standards
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in enterprise systems
Ensure adherence to Verizon s security governance policies
Document and communicate security frameworks and configurations clearly

Required Skills:

Strong experience as a Security Engineer in large enterprise environments
Hands-on expertise with CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ or similar)
In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and key management
Understanding of network security, identity management, and compliance standards
Excellent documentation and communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Verizon security architecture or standards
Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH
