Job Description:

The DevOps Engineer will be building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Responsibilities:

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for creating and documenting the framework of technical standards and procedures, and supports the engineering team in solutioning, engineering and system administration tasks. Ensure overall product quality by working closely with PM and government technical leads. Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.

Will also include, but not limited to:
  • Red Hat Linux: possesses a strong command of the Linux command line
  • Understand, configure, implement, and deploy systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment
  • Monitor systems, validate the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.
  • Install, patch installations, upgrade, and maintain system hardware and software
  • Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.
  • Responsible for configuration and maintenance of computer systems within the environment, ensuring high availability of systems and services
  • Responsible for hardware upgrades, performance tuning, and resource optimization
  • Design and build technical solutions for cloud-agnostic, cloud-enabled infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns
  • Back up, retrieve, maintain, and migrate programs and data
  • Create, maintain and update documentation
  • Responsible for change management requests

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with Linux command line (not GUI)
  • Experience with cloud environment
  • IAT Level II certification, which include:
    • CCNA Security
    • GSEC
    • CYSA
    • GICSP
    • Security+ CE
    • SSCP

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Clearance:
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
