Hi,

We need w2 candidate for this role with one of our direct client-

Title: SAS Data Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC || Atlanta, GA- 5 days onsite
Duration: 9 months+ contract to hire
Job Responsibilities:
Overview: Looking for people focused on the data analytics space, supporting audit and issue evaluations.

Example: These can be one-time pull data or do a heavier data analysis/investigative work(looking for outliners).

Manager notes: Please reference for candidate screeening and resume review.
Main Skills:

  1. SQL
  2. SAS (Python as a secondary)
  3. Working Multiple Datasets (understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts)

Skills Overview:

  • 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, data science
  • Strong SQL skills (writing SQL from scratch, queries, complex joins) no stored procedure or tables.
  • SAS customization
    • SAS programming do code reviews.
    • Python as a secondary
      • Do not need both SAS and Python
    • Data extraction, data manipulation , data reporting (pulling insights from the data)
      • (re-executed and executing data might not be the right fit.) need to have coding expertise to analyze and identify outliers
    • No ETL pipelining or performance tuning required
  • Need to work with non-tech folks as well to be able to accomplish ask
  • Banking/financial services is preferred BUT I am open to other enterprise experience
    • Audit is only a nice to have skill, not required

Job Description:

  • Gather, analyze, document and maintain all data requirements related to the business applications, interfaces and reporting environments.
  • Apply standards and best practices to ensure the Bank's data is accurate, complete, current, understandable and accessible.
  • Work closely with internal clients, Audit Delivery Teams, business analysts and development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues
