You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

  • 30% of the time on Objective 1: Instructional System Design
  • 20% of the time on Objective 2: Digital Media Specialist
  • 20% of the time on Objective 3: Facilitation
  • 15% of the time on Objective 4: Internal Communications
  • 15% of the time on Objective 5: Internal Skyline Support

Job Responsibilities What to Expect

  • Facilitate internal classes and external events.
    • Serve as the point of contact for internal customers during pre-discovery, preparation, and post-completion stages when designing training and learning paths to address specific needs.
    • Collaborate with the team around the feedback received from workshop surveys and implement when needed.
    • Complete content and documentation edits.
    • Assist with the production and management of the Learning and Development yearly calendar and events.
    • Curate content for professional development courses, creatively and technically.
  • Collaborate in the capture of in-person training to webinar trainings.
  • Assist in video capture and video editing throughout the entire company.
  • Record, produce, and edit videos that are done in the studio or in the field.
  • Work with Quality Assurance Managers and Tech Writers to write and edit content for newsletters, SkyPoint, Emails, and other internal channels.
  • Responsible for gathering course evaluations and survey results.
    • Create feedback and metric reports.
  • Assist with research and development to ensure content relevance.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and technology to be implemented into Skylines professional development programs.
  • Support of HR Manager and Senior HR Generalist as needed.

Your Knowledge & Expertise

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Training/Learning and Development
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • CLDP Certification
  • APTD or CPTD certification preferred
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Forms, Stream, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
